In this section we try to answer some of the frequently asked questions about Alfa Travel holidays. The questions are grouped together by category to make your search easier. If you have a question that isn’t answered here then please contact us.
Coaches
Yes. All of our Alfa Travel Coaches and partner coaches are fitted with air conditioning.
There is Wi-Fi on the majority of our our new Alfa Coaches, we aim to have Wi-Fi across all of our coaches in the next few years.
No we do not charge extra for any seat reservation, including front seats, they are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Yes. All of our Alfa Coaches and partner coaches are fitted with a WC.
We don’t have extra leg room seats however all our coach seats are fully adjustable and give a good amount of leg room.
Alfa Coaches have 4 steps to get onboard. You must be able to negotiate these unaided or with the assistance of a member of your own party.
All our Alfa Coaches lower at the front for easy access.
Depending on destination, we aim to arrive late afternoon so you have time to freshen up for your evening meal. If you are travelling from Scotland to some of the destinations in the South, arrival will be in the evening, due to the length of the journey.
If you are travelling from some of our Southern pick up points you may have an overnight stop on the way North.
Customers are permitted to take their own collapsible wheelchair on our coaches. Please inform us at the time of booking if you plan to take one with you.
Due to weight restrictions we cannot transport motorised wheelchairs or scooters on outbound and inbound journeys. We do however advise on hire in resort and permit motorised wheelchairs or scooters on excursions.
Self Drive
Unfortunately for legal reasons we cannot allow Self Drive customers to join the coach tour excursions
Yes. Off peak ferries are included. For further details please call our reservations team on 01257 248000.
Early check in is available for a small charge (subject to availability)
Others
Only Assistance Dogs are allowed on board our coaches and in our hotels. Guests must notify us when making a booking if they wish to bring an Assistance Dog with them.
If you have a Special Request please let us know at the time you confirm your booking. Although we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet your request, we will always do our best to facilitate where possible. Due to the time required to carry out the Special Requirements process, we regret we cannot accept Special Requirements requests less than 21 days prior to the start of your holiday. All our Leisureplex Hotels include hairdryers in the bedrooms. Facilities at third party hotels may vary.
