Bridlington, Scarborough & York / Afternoon Tea Dance

Resort - Bridlington

Overview

The long beach front, historic buildings and range of entertainment facilities make Bridlington a fantastic destination on the Yorkshire Coast. Bridlington Old Town is traditional Yorkshire in a nutshell. Packed with attractive antique shops and restaurants, the Old Town was the setting for the Dad’s Army film. The delightful mix of brick and stone buildings, colourful shop fronts, popular cafés and individual shops provide a relaxing environment for shopping or strolling. Entertainment and art galleries are housed in the refurbished Spa Centre on the seafront. A network of land-trains transports guests around the town, along the front, and as far afield as Sewerby Hall and Gardens, a delightful stately home owned and managed by East Riding Council.

  • Scarborough really does have it all – dramatic cliffs, prominent castle headland, historic harbour and wonderful beaches. Perhaps take a ride on the oldest funicular railway in Britain, enjoy a stroll through the gardens or enjoy some seaside fun on the award-winning beaches. We continue our day with a visit to Filey. Home to an historic promenade, impressive Edwardian architecture and a five-mile expanse of stunning beach this is a great place to explore.

Day 3 - Morning at Leisure / Afternoon Tea Dance at Bridlington Spa

  • Make your way to Bridlington Spa for an elegant afternoon of sequence dancing with a sprinkle of ballroom and Latin on request. Whether you are with a few friends, part of a group, with your partner or even alone, you will be guaranteed a warm Yorkshire welcome. Friendly faces and an informal atmosphere will ensure you have a wonderful time. The now famous, spectacular Spa scones served with butter and jam, accompanied with tea or coffee are also included. Dancing will commence at 2pm.

Day 4 - York
