Great Yarmouth & Scenic Steam Trains

Resort - Great Yarmouth

Overview

Great Yarmouth is East Anglia's top seaside venue, whose long sandy beach stretches for miles, backed by the Marine Parade and promenade, ideal for a gentle stroll or a ride on a horse-drawn landau. Visitors enjoy a huge range of attractions including the Model Village, a magnificent Sea Life Centre and the Hippodrome Circus, one of the longest running permanent circuses in England. Historically Great Yarmouth’s South Quay was a bustling port, described by Daniel Defoe as the finest quay in Europe with its many Georgian buildings. Those with an interest in history might also enjoy the Nelson Museum and the preserved Row Houses, unique to Great Yarmouth. There’s something for everyone in England’s far East!

New Beach Hotel

The New Beach Hotel is in a prime position on the seafront opposite Britannia Pier and adjacent to the shops and resort amenities. Great Yarmouth has enticing golden sands and a traditional promenade which is often referred to as the Golden Mile. The resort is endearingly traditional with Victorian piers and a miniature village. Many of the hotel bedrooms boast fantastic sea views, where you might catch a glimpse of the local seals and can enjoy the panoramic views of the resort and seafront. The hotel features a comfortable sun lounge, where you can watch the world go by, a large restaurant and entertainment room with dancefloor, where you can find entertainment on most evenings. Lift serving all floors.
